Been a little while....

... well we are here .. in Denmark, been here just over a week now, and erm still unpacking ... boy is that a chore.

Everything seems to be going OK at the moment. Though job hunting has yet to start. I think we need to get a bit more unpacking done first, so then I don't have to do that when I get back from a job (when one arrives.)

What other things are going on .. oh yes this PC of mine has been giving me some irrational greif.

When I purchased it, I bough one for the other 1/w at the same time... so both PC's were identical... now my PC for some reason, it only knows, has decided to turn it's self off at the most in appropriate moments, usually whilst I am at a critial point in a 3D game, such as the MMO's I play in.

I have swapped out the Memory, Graphix Card, the only things left it could be are Motherboard and CPU ........ *Sigh* ... that next I suppose.

On the Move again.

So here I am once more....

This time, the ferry should sail. We will be heading from my parents at about 14:00, to reach the ferry terminal in time to check in about 16:00 ready to board about 17:00 and leave dock at about 18:00 .. and finally sail to DK.

We should already be there if the weather had been better behaved!!! But as I'm sure everyone in the world is aware the weather does not behave :)

Well during the time off what have I mangaged to acchieve? I'v started a private blog for my Second Life character ... that's about it really. It's been a tad boring really waiting .. well at least it's waiting in comfort I suppose as opposed to waiting in a ferry terminal or airport, I suppose.

Life, Love and Moving Home

Oh boy ... what a day ..

Get up bright and early to get the last of the things packed into the van ready to move to Denmark, I head out grab some coffees, and get home to find that, owing to bad weather the ferry has been cancelled .....!!!!

Eeep!! what now ... this means that the van, we hired in DK, will be late home, the driver (a friend) will be late home .. aaaarrrrggghh!!! is an understatement of the level of panic that almost set in ....

Well I think we managed to get through most of the day unscathed, well .... Colin has had a major case of CFS related pain today and last night, and it hasn't subsided yet :( I am hoping (crossed finger toes and anything else I can manage) that it might go when stress levels from moving are reduced, but ... we will have to see...

I would like to hope that I have coped with everyone very well today, and that what I have done has reduced everyone's stress levels considerably ... but as they say you can never tell.

My Parents have been great offering to put us up as long as we need .. they are the best ...

well time to find a bed ...

Time is an Illusion

Well, so they tell me .. and lunchtime doubly so ...

People coming over for dinner tonight, the food is in, the house is a tip, doing good so far then ;-)

Moving has this effect on homes .. turns good old fashioned chaos, into organized chaos with a side order of panic thrown in for good measure. And if the panic doesn't get you .. then the general upheaval will ...

... think I'll stop panicing now and get on with the important issues of Lunch, and more sorting and tidying .. if I can do that in style then the old fashioned chaos wins out ...

Oh the Eagle or the other half as he is better know is keeping a moving blog (I have just found out :) ) .. anyone that does read this and is interested .. not that people do, or are .. check it out over at :: myspace ::
